DC4MH IMPLEMENTATION & EVALUATION REPORT
The implementation and evaluation report includes the evaluations of the implementation of the tools developed in the Erasmus+ Sport project “Dual Careers for Mental Health” (DC4MH).
The report includes a detailed description of evaluations obtained from dual career athletes, dual career support providers (e.g. DC coordinators, coaches, parents) and participants of the DC4MH multiplier sport events. The outputs provide direct insights into how the outputs developed within the DC4MH project were evaluated and improved, and how they can be implemented within DC organizations.
The following tools were developed, implemented and evaluated during the DC4MH project:
- A set of recommendations for dual career organizations to promote mental health, including a self-assessment tool to evaluate compliance with the recommendations (tested in Sweden and Belgium);
- A monitoring tool to track dual career experiences and how these impact mental health (tested in Spain and Belgium);
- Mental health literacy materials, including a mental health literacy workshop and an online quiz (tested in Slovenia and Belgium);
- A booklet and workshop with resilience-building strategies and well-being interventions (tested in Denmark, Italy, and Belgium).
For each of the tools, information on the implementation context, participants, and main feedbacks are provided. Based on the different feedbacks provided, the tools were optimized. The final versions of the tools are available on the DC4MH website under the Tools section: https://spmb.research.vub.be/dc4mh
