Mattias Dooms

Mattias is based in Mallorca (University of Balearic Islands) and will make a joint PhD under supervision of Koen De Brandt, Paul Wylleman and Alejandro García Mas (UIB). He will investigate the topic of dual career and life skills transfer in talented and elite athletes. 

Mattias is currently active as a sport psychologist and football coach in Mallorca. He graduated at VUB in Clinical psychology in 2007 and continued his education at KUL (European Master in Sport & Exercsie Psychology) and VU Amsterdam (Postmaster Applied Sport psychology). At the moment he is also completing his UEFA coaching diploma.
